Théâtre des Vampires: an IWTV Fanzine - Volume 2

Hi everyone!

We just wanted to send a quick update on what to expect in the next few weeks as we kick off production 💫

The remainder of August will be largely taken by processing payments. Most backers will already have been charged by now, but if you get a notification of a failed payment from BackerKit, please make sure to address it promptly. While we wait for the funds to be released, we will also be finalising work on the physical drafts of the zines. Our contributors already have the latest draft for review, and we'll make sure to do some extra proofreading before sending the files off to print!

We expect to be placing orders with our different manufacturers around early September/late August. Taking into account proofs and the time it takes for stuff to get from our manufacturers to us, we estimate to (hopefully 🤞) have all the zines and merch ready to ship by the end of September. Once we do, we will open surveys and collect addresses and shipping costs. We want to wait until we have most of the actual goods so we can weight them and provide you all with the most fair shipping prices we can manage. We expect the cost of shipping a bundle with both zines to be around our estimates, if not a bit lower (once again, crossing fingers!). We'll also open our pre-order store for digital fanzines around this time, for anyone that may have missed the campaign. We know a lot of people prefer to not have the interior content "spoiled", so digital rewards won't be available until at least one or two weeks after all packages have been shipped to backers, to ensure everyone has a chance to get their hands on their physical hardcover copies first. The one exception is the digital version of Volume 1. If you got it as an add-on, you can expect to have it available as a digital download shortly after surveys first go out .

Once everyone has safely received their orders, we'll open a leftovers store here on BackerKit with anything we have left, tally up the numbers, and make the final donation to NOAGE and the PCRF ❤️

Hi everyone!

What a whirlwind these past weeks have been. Thanks to your incredible support, we have unlocked ALL of our initial Stretch Goals 🥰 Not only have the prints been upgraded to a bigger size and the keychain to a double-sided epoxy finish, but we also get to produce this incredible Claudia standee:



And that's not all! Having raised more than three times our initial goal, we were able to set a Stretch Goal upgrade we had barely dared to dream of: both zines will now be produced as hardcovers 💫




To celebrate this incredible milestone, and seeing the amount of interest there has been around the Volume 1 add-on, we also released some extremely limited leftovers from Volume 1. Some of them are already gone! 😱 But we still have a handful of prints, pins, journals, and sticker sheets available, all of them at a reduced price 😘

Thank you so much for joining us in this incredible journey. The mod team has been hard at work finalising the zine and we are VERY excited to be able to send this baby out for production and share it with all of of you ❤️

In the meantime, feel free to share and re-share this campaign with your fandom friends as we approach the end. Our goal remains to reach as many people as possible and raise funds for our wonderful selected charities: NOAGE and the PCRF.

Thank you all SO much for your incredible support. We made a bunch of upgrades from Volume 1 which meant we needed a higher initial goal, and you still absolutely smashed it in mere hours!

With the base fund secured to make a physical run of Volume 2 of the TDV fanzine a reality, we plan to turn our focus on Stretch Goals!



We prepared better for it this time, but trust you to still manage to hit the first goal barely minutes after we managed to get the graphics out 😅

Having reached $2000, our A5 prints will now be produced as 9x6in sized prints. They will still be double-sided and have a matte finish. This upgrade automatically applies to any orders that include these prints, whether as part of the Orchestra, Concession Stand or Royal Box pledge tiers, or as an add-on.

For for our second stretch goal, we have another merch upgrade!



If we raise $2500, the Santiago acrylic charm will get a double-sided epoxy upgrade. This means that both sides of the charm will be coated in epoxy resin, which will give them a slightly domed finish and extra protection. This upgrade will automatically apply to any orders that include the charm, whether as part of the Concession Stand or Royal Box pledge tiers, or as an add-on.
